Logo Rules
Use of certification body marks, logos and symbols.
Max Acerna operates a Management System Certification scheme under which certifications are granted to clients from various sectors, whose documented management systems conform to the relevant standards on a continuous and consistent basis. Services under this scheme are available to all applicants irrespective of size, affiliation, financial status or geographical location, and are administered in a non-discriminatory manner.
Use of Certification Body Marks, Logos and Symbols
A company certified by Max Acerna Management Systems (MAX) may use the GAB / MAX logo on company letterheads and literature, subject to the following conditions:
- Use of the symbols on stationery or other media shall not be used by a certified client unless the use relates in whole or in part to certification endorsed by MAX.
- The GAB or MAX logo shall not be used individually.
Note: Clients where MAX has certified subsidiaries, divisions, departments or offices of a company — and not the company as a whole — must exercise care in the use of certification logos and marks to ensure no misrepresentation of the certified scope.
The symbol shall not be used on a product, packing, packaging, or on certifications or test reports from test/calibration facilities, or in any way that may be interpreted to denote product conformity. Use of certification marks to indicate that a product has been made under a certified management system shall adhere to the following guide:
